Thousands of dual citizen applications still pending
The Committee on Public Accounts of the Parliament (COPA) revealed that 22,388 applications have been received for dual citizenship and that the process has been delayed due to various reasons.
The applications have been submitted during the 2 year period between 2018-2020.
However, only 10,077 of those were finalised.
