Govt workers for foreign jobs : New plan from Govt
Plans are under way to introduce a five-year no pay leave plan for public servants who wish to go abroad for work or any other purpose, Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government Minister Dinesh Gunawardena told the Sunday Observer yesterday.
According to Minister Gunawardena, public servants will get back their seniority, grades at the end of the five years with all benefits after completing the no pay leave period, The Sunday Observer Newspaper reported.
This will give incentives to public servants to go abroad for employment. Therefore, this program will offer many benefits to public servants, the Minister said.
