6 batches of rice to arrive from China
Six batches of rice are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka, under the Chinese 500 million RMB grant to Sri Lanka.
The Chinese Embassy tweeted that the first and the second batch are to arrive at the Colombo Port on June 25th and 30th.
Under this program, 10,000 MT rice for needy kids will be distributed under the “School Meal Program” across Sri Lanka, the embassy adds.
