Friday holiday circular issued
A circular has been issued to grant leave on Friday to public servants.
This circular has been issued by the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, M.M.P.K. Mayadunne.
The circular states that although Friday has been declared a holiday, if another holiday falls on any other week day, the next Friday would be considered a working day.
