Peradeniya Uni. closed amid crisis
Peradeniya University will be closed from today (18) due to the present deepening crisis situation, Vice Chancellor Prof. M. D. Lamawansa has said.
“Due to the current difficulties faced by the people at large, all academic programmes including examinations will be temporarily on hold, and all hostels will be closed immediately. Hence, it is hereby informed that all students should leave the university premises with immediate effect,” the Vice Chancellor has said in a notice.
He has also said that lectures will be said online.
