Minister on Sri Lankan plans for this year
Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva, speaking at a meeting with representatives of the SriLankan Nidahas Sewaka Sangamaya (SLNSS) stated that SriLankan airlines’ restructuring should be finalised this year to ease the burden on the public.
He added that no employee will be made redundant forcibly and that he has instructed the SriLankan management to offer employees the option of a Voluntary Retirement Scheme instead.
