THEIVING SLPP PS MEMBER ARRESTED
Police have arrested 03 persons who had broken into a house in the Ukuwela area and stolen possessions worth around Rs. 100,000.
The stolen goods include fans, TVs and gas cylinders, police say.
According to the Matale police HQ, the suspects include a Sri Lanka Podujana Party member of the Ukuwela Pradeshiya Sabha.
A resident of the Garalawela area in Ukuwela, the PS member is said to be a drug addict as well, reports say.
