Dudley loses it at millers’ press briefing
A heated situation had arisen during the media briefing held today (22) in Colombo by the rice millers.
The media briefing was held to raise awareness on rice prices.
The heated situation arose after ‘Navratna’ Rice mills owner – Mithrapala Lankeshwara said that there was a need to increase prices of ‘Nadu’ rice. ‘Araliya’ rice mills owner – Dudley Sirisena had angrily reacted to the statement.
However, it was later stated that rice would be provided according to the control prices imposed by the government.
