Circular permitting state employees to seek foreign employment released!
The Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs has issued a circular on public servants seeking employment abroad without affecting their seniority and pension.
It also specifies the monthly amount of dollars to be remitted to Sri Lanka by public servants going abroad under each category.
Also, if staff officers go abroad for employment, they should be confirmed in the service and the non-staff officers could also go abroad during their probation period, said the Secretary to the Ministry MMPK Mayadunne.
