Meeting between Prime Minister and US representatives!
A delegation from the US Treasury Department and the State Department called on Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today (27).
It is reported that the two sides had a lengthy discussion on the current economic crisis in the country.
The delegation, which included Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Asia Robert Caproth and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Kelly Keiderlin, arrived in Sri Lanka this morning.
During their visit, they will hold discussions with other senior government officials, political party representatives as well as economic experts and representatives of international organizations.
