Leading monk surrenders over torching Prasanna’s house
Chief Incumbent of the Aluthapola Rajamaha Viharaya – Ven. Prof. Nedalagamuwe Dhammadinna Thero has surrendered to the police earlier today (27) over the violent incidents that had taken place on May 09.
The Thera had surrendered specifically over the torching of Minister Prasanna Ranatunga’s house in Udugampola, Gampaha.
After obtaining a statement, the Thera would be produced before the Gampaha Magistrate courts, police say.
