Fertilizer shipment delayed by 2 days!
The Commercial Fertilizer Company said that the arrival of a ship carrying urea fertilizer to Sri Lanka will be further delayed.
Commercial Fertilizer Company Chairman Methsiri Wijegunawardena said that as the shipment of urea that was due to arrive in the country on July 06th was delayed, another ship carrying urea fertilizer is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka.
This shipment arriving from Oman is carrying 40,000 metric tons of urea.
The company points out that a consignment of fertilizer obtained under the Indian loan facility will be brought to Sri Lanka and the quality of the fertilizer will be examined by three parties.
