Wellalage back in the school cricket arena
Sri Lanka’s rising star bowler – Dunith Wellalage has been released from the Test squad to play the Battle of the Saints in Colombo, representing St. Joseph’s College.
The big match between St. Joseph’s College and St. Peter’s College, Colombo hasn’t been won by St. Joseph’s in 14 years.
Wellalage is not a part of the Sri Lanka XI so selectors had released him for the big match. He will return to the Sri Lankan squad against Pakistan afterwards.
