Cause for car fire opposite PM’s office not determined yet!
A car that was parked at a restaurant opposite the Prime Minister’s Office had suddenly caught fire this afternoon (31).
It is reported that the car had caught fire when it was being started.
The front portion of the car had been destroyed in the fire. The security personnel at the Prime Minister’s Office had intervened and assisted to bring the fire under control together with the Colombo Municipal Council fire fighters. Two CMC fire trucks had arrived at the scene to douse the fire.
According to our reporter, the cause for the fire has not been determined yet.
