State of emergency won’t be extended – President
President Ranil Wickremesinghe says that the State of Emergency, which is scheduled to lapse by the end of this week, won’t be extended.
“As the country’s situation is back to normal, I will not extend the State of Emergency which is scheduled to lapse by the end of this week,” he said today (16).
