Passenger & duty free shop employee nabbed with gold biscuits
An employee attached to duty free shop and a passenger had been arrested today (17) by narcotic officials for attempting to smuggle gold biscuits.
Authorities have seized 9.5 kg of gold biscuits which has been valued at Rs. 205 million.
The passenger had arrived from Dubai by the flight EK 650 and he had hid the gold in his bags while the duty free shop employee had hid 80 biscuits in her handbag and attempted to exit the airport.
