Mervyn released
Former Minister Mervyn Silva has been released by Colombo Additional Magistrate.
The Magistrate noted that bail is unnecessary and it is sufficient for Mr. Silva to appear in court on Nov. 16th.
Earlier today, he was arrested by the CID over forcibly entering the state owned Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation in 2007.
