AL results released; 171,497 qualify for university
The results of the 2021 Advanced Level examination were released today (28) and the Examinations Department stated 171,497 candidates have qualified for university, which is 62.9% of the total number of candidates.
49 candidates (37 from schools and 12 private) have had their results suspended.
AL results can be viewed on the Examinations Department websites www.doenets.lk and www.results.exams.gov.lk.Examinations Commissioner General A.L.D. Dharmasena said that 236, 035 candidates from schools and 36,647 private candidates (a total of 272,682 candidates) sat for the 2021 AL exam.
