2nd term school vacation announced
Holidays for the second term of schools this year will be from September 08 to September 12, the Ministry of Education states.
Accordingly, the school vacation for the 2nd term will only be for 05 days.At the same time, a 29-day school vacation for the 3rd term is scheduled to be given from December 03, 2022, to January 01, 2023. According to the Education Ministry, the 2022 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination is scheduled to be held during this time.
Meanwhile, the ministry also says that applications for the admission of students to intermediate grades in national schools will not be accepted from Sep. 02, 2022.The Ministry further states that the matters related to the appeals/applications that have been submitted so far will be considered according to the vacancies in the schools and the requests of the applicants, with the relevant decisions to be announced soon.
