Maithripala files writ petition over Easter attacks case
Former President Maithripala Sirisena filed a writ petition in the Court of Appeal today in relation to a case over the Easter Sunday attacks of 2019.
The petition has been filed seeking an order to suspend the notice issued by the Fort Magistrate’s Court naming Mr. Sirisena a suspect in the Easter attacks case.
