Three arrested over theft at Ratmalana Railway Yard
Three suspects who allegedly stole properties from the Ratmalana Railway Maintenance Yard were arrested by the Mount Lavinia Police yesterday(2).
Police said the suspects were arrested while transporting 62 kilos of aluminum in a three-wheeler in the Ratmalana area and were brought into the Mt.Lavinia Police Station for further investigation.
The arrested suspects are 21, 35, and 42 years old residents of Ratmalana and Morenthuduwa in Matara.
The suspects are to be produced in the Mt.Lavinia Magistrate’s Court today (3).
The Mt. Lavinia Police is conducting further investigations.
