Cabinet nod to submit 2023 Budget in Parliament
The Cabinet proposal presented by the President as the Minister of Finance to publish the Appropriation Bill for the financial year 2023 in the Government Gazette and then submit it to Parliament has been approved.
Accordingly, the government has estimated Rs.4,634 billion as the total recurrent expenditure for the year 2023 and Rs.3,245 billion as the total capital expenditure.
