Patali nominated to National Council
Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Patali Champika Ranawaka has been nominated as a member of the National Council.
Meanwhile, MP M. Rameswaran has been nominated to fill the vacancy left open following the resignation of MP Jeevan Thondaman from the National Council.
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena announced this in Parliament today (05). The next meeting of the National Council is scheduled to be held tomorrow (06).
