Lotus Tower stamp tops postal dept’s stamp sales
Postmaster General – A.T. Ariyaratne says that several stamps were sold out completely in recent times.
These stamps featured the Nedungamuwe Tusker (valued Rs. 15) , the Lotus Tower (valued Rs. 45) and the Covid-19 collection.
300,000 copies of each stamp were printed and had been entirely sold out.
Out of these, the highest sales income had come from the Lotus Tower stamp.
