Sri Lankan opener Kusal Mendis has confirmed that his fellow opener Pathum Nissanka has a groin injury concern.

He said this while speaking at the post-match press.

Pathum who was dismissed for 14 runs today, didn’t take the field when the Netherlands batted.

The Sri Lankan camp has struggled with a string of injury woes since the start of the T20 World Cup.
