Pvt. bus owners want fare hike
Sri Lanka’s Private Bus Owners have demanded to increase bus fares from Jan. 2022.
Speaking to reporters in Colombo in the first December , chairman of the Private Bus Owners Association – Gemunu Wijeratne said a proposal will be made to the National Transportation Commission next week to increase fares with effect from January 2022.
‘The minimum fare should be Rs.20/-,” he said.
