A group of activists who were part of the ‘Aragalaya’ People’s Movement has decided to contest the upcoming Local Government elections.

The group will contest under the United People’s Party headed by Minister Public Security Tiran Alles, under the ‘mobile phone’ symbol.

This is the second group of activists who were part of the ‘Aragalaya’ to announce their decision to contest the Local Government polls.

Last week, a group of activists who were part of the ‘Aragalaya’ announced their decision to contest under the Lanka Socialist Party for Colombo Municipal Council (CMC).
