More MPs needed for a protest – PM tells SJB
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa met with the members of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya who were protesting outside the Parliament complex today morning (06).
A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that the PM had told the parliamentarians that more members should be involved when organizing a protest.
The statement further noted that the PM had regaled tales of protests he was a part of in the past, with MPs who had joined him in those political struggles.
