A foreign national has had the opportunity to experience being dressed up as a Sri Lankan bride during her journey on the Podi Menike train to Colombo recently.

According to video footage shared by NewsFirst, the foreign woman was dressed up by a group that was returning to Colombo after participating in a bridal competition.

The foreigner is reported to have expressed her willingness to be dressed as a Sri Lankan bride after which she had made a request from the group.

The group including a beautician had, thereafter, dressed up the foreign national in Sri Lankan bridal clothing inside the moving train. (NewsWire)
