The following 16-member squad has been selected by the Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee for the first two games of the ODI series vs. Afghanistan.

The three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will commence on June 2, 2023, at the MRICS in Hambantota.

Note to Editors

 Wanindu Hasaranga is currently undergoing rehabilitation for a foot injury, and he will return to play once he is cleared to do so.

 Kusal Janith Perera was not picked for the ODI series as he is currently undergoing rehabilitation following a hamstring injury he sustained during Sri Lanka’s tour of New Zealand.

 The squad was released pending approval from the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
