Several people who worked in the President’s Media team have fled the country, Opposition Leader MP Sajith Premadasa alleged in Parliament.

MP Premadasa revealed that several people from the President’s Media team who had travelled overseas with the President had returned and utilised the same visa to leave the country.

He further questioned if the personnel of the President’s Media Team do not have confidence in the direction of the country, what about the rest of the people in the country?

Stating that he has the necessary information about the people who have already fled the country, MP Premadasa said he will, however, not disclose it as it is unethical.
