Private aircraft makes emergency landing in Negombo (Pics)

A private light aircraft has made an emergency landing in Kimbulapitiya, Negombo today (27) afternoon.

According to the Sri Lanka Air Force, two out of the four people who were onboard the craft are foreigners, reports say. According to the Negombo hospital, one person has sustained head injuries while the others are not in a critical state.
The flight, a Cessna 172, was heading from Koggala from Sigiriya, reports say. The aircraft belongs to the Sakurai Aviation Limited, which reported an emergency landing in Payagala last week.
It is reported that a team from the Air Force and the Sri Lanka Fire Department have been deployed to the scene.
