Out of the 42,248 wanted suspects who were referred to the criminal divisions of Police, 1,468 suspects were apprehended yesterday under the Yukthiya operation, Ministry of Public Security said in a statement.

In the last 24 hours, 1,468 suspects have been arrested in operations carried out under the Yukthiya operation.

1). Out of the 4,088 suspects who had been issued open warrants for drug offences, 254 suspects were arrested.

2). Out of the 31,417 suspects who were issued open warrants for offenses other than drugs, 942 suspects were arrested.

3). Out of the 4,258 suspects who were identified through fingerprints, 123 suspects have been arrested.

4). Among the 2,485 suspects who have not been arrested so far over abuse cases, 149 suspects have been arrested.
