2022 cricket team hardly has time to breathe!
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) recently announced the tournament schedule for the year 2022 of the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team.
It is noteworthy that next year 15 international cricket matches will be played between Sri Lanka and Australia.
Accordingly, the Sri Lankan team will play its first international tournament in Zimbabwe for the year 2022, followed by a tour of Australia in January and February and a tour of India in February and March.
In addition, the Sri Lankan team will travel to Bangladesh for a Test series in May, while Australia will travel to Sri Lanka in June for a Test, ODI and T20 tour.
Pakistan are scheduled to visit Sri Lanka for ODIs and Tests in July and August.

Zimbabwe tour Sri Lanka in January (3 ODIs)
Sri Lanka tour of Australia in January-February (5 T20 matches)
Sri Lanka tour of India in February-March (3 T20 matches and 2 Tests)
Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh in May (2 Test matches)
Sri Lanka tour of Australia in June-July (3 T20s, 5 ODIs and 2 Tests)
Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan in July – August (3 ODIs and 2 Tests)
August-September Asia Cricket Cup (T20)
October and November World Twenty20 Cricket Tournament
Sri Lanka tour of India in December and January 2023 (tournament format yet to be decided)
