Police have uncovered a large-scale racket involving the live streaming and sale of sex scenes to a Chinese company.

Based on information received by the Piliyandala Police, a young couple living in a rented house in the Batakettara area of Piliyandala has been arrested in connection with this incident.

During questioning, it was revealed that the couple, who previously resided in Kollupitiya, had rented the house last March.

At the time of the police raid, another couple was present, who were also found to be directly involved in the racket.

The two couples, aged 22, 23, 26, and 27, are scheduled to be presented to court.
