Suwaseriya to suspend operations in Karuwalagaswewa?
The Suwaseriya ambulance service will suspend operations at Karuwalagaswewa area in Puttalam district, after two of its employees were assaulted by a group of intoxicated persons, MP Harsha De Silva has told Parliament yesterday (June 19).
MP De Silva said police have been lethargic when dealing with the wrongdoers.
“Around 1,200 persons will be affected if Suwaseriya suspends its operation in the whole district,” the MP added.
