New secretaries for President & PM Featured
The new secretaries of the President and Prime Minister have been appointed.
Mr. Gamini Senarath, previously served as the Secretary to the Prime Minister, will assume duties as the Secretary to the President today (19). He replaces Dr. PB Jayasundara, who resigned from his post as Secretary to the President recently.
In addition, Irrigation Ministry Secretary Anura Dissanayake is to be appointed as the new Secretary to the Prime Minister.
Accordingly, Dissanayake is to take oaths as the Secretary to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa tomorrow.
