Zoo DG resigns until safe working environment is ensured!
Director General of the Zoological Gardens Department Sharmila Rajapaksa has stated that she will resign until a formal investigation is carried out into those involved in sabotage and fraud and the dangerous situation is removed.
She has also stated that she has informed her decision to the Secretary to the President and the Secretary to the Ministry of Wildlife and Forest Conservation in a letter.
