Badulla night mail canceled suddenly!
Travelers including foreign tourists have been seriously inconvenienced after the Badulla Night Mail train which was due to leave Colombo Fort at 10.00pm today (25), was suddenly canceled, Chairman of the Station Masters Association, Sumedha Somaratne says.
Officials of the Postal Department are among those who were inconvenienced, he adds.
Noting that sudden train cancellations could even bring the country to disrepute on an international level, Mr. Somaratne says that the government should take speedy measures against such conduct of railway officials.
