PM holds talks with Sri Lanka’s defense forces chiefs
Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya engaged in a discussion with the heads of Sri Lanka’s defence forces at the Prime Minister’s Office in Colombo today.
Chief of Defense Staff, General Shavendra Silva, Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, and Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera participated in the meeting.
According to a statement from the PM’s Office, this meeting marks the first formal discussion between the newly appointed Prime Minister and the heads of Sri Lanka’s defence forces.
