Namal questioned over complaint made by Malaysian businessman
Former MP Namal Rajapaksa recorded a statement with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for over two hours today related to a complaint about a financial transaction.
Police Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa told Newswire that the investigations were launched based on a complaint filed by a Malaysian businessman against the former minister.
DIG Thalduwa further said that the complaint had been filed in connection to a financial transaction during 2010 – 2015.
