State minister’s staff member behind attack on UoK medical students
The group who had attacked a group of medical students of the Kelaniya University, had arrived at state owned vehicles, reports reveal.One vehicle had been left abandoned belongs to the Coconut Development Board.
One attacker seized by the students had an ID in possession which said he was a part of the personal staff of State minister – Arundika Fernando.
Three students injured in the attack were admitted to the Ragama Teaching Hospital.One of them was later transferred to the Negombo Hospital for further treatment.
