Two arrested at BIA while attempting to smuggle over 10 million euros!
Two persons were arrested at the Katunayake International Airport today (02) by the Narcotics Division of the Sri Lanka Customs for attempting to smuggle 46,000 Euros worth over Rs. 10 million, said Customs Spokesman, Deputy Director Sudaththa Silva.
The Customs spokesman said that the foreign currency was meticulously hidden in the luggage of the two persons who were about to leave for Dubai and that investigations were underway on the suspects.
