Wild elephant encounter on Buttala-Kataragama Road
Foreign tourists were left in shock after a wild elephant had blocked their vehicle and rummaged for food.
It is reported that the incident had taken place along the Buttala – Kataragama Road.
Video footage shows the elephant forcibly putting its snout through an open window in search of food.
