Bhanuka Rajapaksa dropped from Indian T20 tour

The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) selectors have reportedly dropped Sri Lankan middle order batsman Bhanuka Rajapaksa from the Indian T20I series.

An SLC official said that Bhanuka was reported to have been dropped from the T20 squad touring India as he has not yet achieved the necessary skinfold levels although he was through at the 2km fitness run.

It was reported, Bhanuka has been staying at the hotel under a bio bubble needed to participate in the Indian T20i series.

Sri Lanka’s tour to India will begin with a three-match T20 series starting February 24.
