Dinesh missing at swearing in, Industries portfolio given to SB!
The Cabinet reshuffle took place yesterday (03) and it is reported that Education Minister Dinesh Gunawardena was present at the relevant occasion.
However, the President had attended an emergency meeting after presenting the new portfolios to Gamini Lokuge and Pavithra Wanniarachchi, but when he returned, only S.B. Dissanayake had been there.
Therefore, the President had awarded the Industries Ministry portfolio also to S.B. Dissanayake as Dinesh Gunawardena had gone elsewhere during the President’s emergency meeting.
