Visa & Mastercard also pulls out of Russia
Payments giants Visa and Mastercard have announced that they are pulling out of the Russian market.
The measure is in protest at what Visa’s CEO called “Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Payment giant Paypal cited “violent military aggression in Ukraine” as the reason to shut down its services.
Other international brands such as Zara, Samsung Apple, H&M and Ikea have already suspended trading in Russia.
