CONSUMPTION OF KEROSINE INCREASES TO UNPRECEDENTED HIGH LEVELS BY 250 MT OWING TO GAS SHORTAGE

Kerosene consumption up by 250 MT due to gas shortage

It is reported that the average daily consumption of kerosene in the country has increased by about 250 metric tons in recent times due to the prevailing gas  shortage.

Previously, the average kerosene consumption limit in the country was at 600 MT, which has increased to a daily rate of 850 MT.

Meanwhile, it is said that about 2/3 of gas stocks that were released last Thursday have already been distributed.
