No paper for CEB bills; Bills in writing
The Ceylon Electricity Board states that the printing of electricity bills has been hampered due to the shortage of paper.
The shortage has been caused due to the lack of dollars.Its additional general manager and media spokesman Andrew Navamuni, told the media that meter readers had been instructed to issue bills in writing to electricity consumers.
He also adds that consumers can visit the CEB website and check their bills if there are any discrepancies.
