Minister pulls rank to save those behind Rugby match assault

A minister hailing from the central hill region is said to be pressurising the police to save the two suspects behind the assault of the referees at the Rugby match between Trinity College and St. Thomas’ College held last weekend.

The aforementioned minister was in hot water in the recent past over is unruly conduct at a prison and even lost one of his ministerial positions as a result.

However, he was granted another ministerial portfolio a few weeks back.
